A short drive of 2.5 hours from Toronto, 1.5 hours from Ottawa and scant minutes from Kingston will bring you well into the heart of the Land O' Lakes vacation region. Visitors coming from the U.S.A. are usually happy to learn that the region is easily accessible via I-81, plus a 50 minute drive from the Thousands Islands Bridge border crossing. The two main east-west arteries are Highways 401 and 7 (the Trans Canada Highway), and the two primary north-south routes are Highways 38 and 41.
